About UDT:
The Uig Development Trust SCIO (UDT) exists for the benefit the community of Uig. Its purpose is to support sustainable community development in a collective and responsible manner.
The Trust has five main objectives
1. Land: To manage UDT owned community land and build infrastructure in a sustainable manner for the benefit of the Community and the public.
2. Assets: To provide, or assist in providing, recreational facilities, and/or organising recreational activities, which will be available to members of the public at large with the object of improving the conditions of life of the Community.
3. Community: To advance community development and regeneration, following principles of sustainable development.
4. Education: To advance the education of the Community about its environment, culture, heritage and/or history.
5. Environment: To advance environmental protection or improvement including the preservation and conservation of the natural environment.

The 2026 Uig Development Trust AGM will be held at 7pm on Thursday 26 March at the Uig Community Centre
Membership
Membership is free and open to everyone who is either registered to vote in CnES elections or is eligible to register, by virtue of an address in the Uig area (except employees of the Trust).
